Verandah - Ampthill

Is the ante in front of place really high. more lively place, so book. eating is better than taking away. staff knowing and friendly. dominate sauces and are like in most Indian restaurants. they could shorten the menu around the half and be 50% better, imho, but then U.K diners always want “the ordinary”. the xacuti is hot. fun with friends and a few beers. the owner seems to care and has made many small improvements since the opening.

Such a great environment, staff are always so friendly, the whole place gives such a great vibe. the food is always so good, will be returning many times in the future

Used to come here a lot when it was Alameda then continued when it became the Verandah and this visit was by far the best we've had. Service is excellent. Staff are polite, fast and perfectly efficient and the food is even better!! Will continue to visit

The atmosphere was wonderful, and the dining experience was delightful, making for a fantastic evening, all thanks to Jay's excellent customer service! Unfortunately, some of the other employees were rude, and they could learn a thing or two from Jay. We will definitely return when our favorite server is working.
