Five stars, without hesitation. Gramola d'Amposta will never have a Michelin star, nor does it aspire to one. But it is very difficult to find a family restaurant (I had the impression, perhaps wrongly, of being served by mother and son) where you can almost touch the sky for a modest daily menu of less than twenty euros. No experiments, no alchemy, only fresh produce, cuisine of a lifetime, exquisite service in the dining room (charming, familiar, professionals, polyglots) and excellent quality on an apparently simple daily menu. I tried two seconds (small supplement that is worth it) consisting of some grilled calamari and a grilled turbot (market fish that changes every day) with an exquisite vegetable garnish. When the waiter asks if he can take your plate and bread away and you say no, things are going well. I ended up with the ice cream included in the extensive menu options, vanilla with cream, artisanal, exquisite, very sweet. Highly recommended, in the middle of the center of Amposta, it's a shame they close on Saturday evenings so I would have liked to have tried other options on their menu. Un sitio muy recomendado. el menú de precio diario es muy bueno. Los postres son un placer. el lugar tranquilo, acogedor y muy cuidadoso. Siempre es bueno comer aquí.
