Bidra med feedbackTable outside Nice breeze under the shade of a tree Wine: Rully blanc 2013, fresh but complex Mash musk melon as a fresh amuse bouche Pleurottes fricassee and Oeuf mollet: fresh mushrooms well sauted, egg cooked to perfection, just a little minus, the pepper was not freshly grinded Sea bass: extremely fresh, perfectly cooked Dessert: Palais breton on salted butter caramel (a tad heavy but it has to be) Overall a good adress in Amiens with fresh products and a simple elegant cuisine
This restaurant continues to improve Food innovative and good Wines excellent Just a little far out of the town centre If it were closer i would certainly visit more often
This is what a visit to a french restaurant should be. Highly professional staff, faultless service and lovely food. As did everyone else on a lovely evening we sat outside on the terrace. We ate off the a la carte though the menu looked great as well. Amuse bouche 2 of them were savory pastries and after the starters I had the crab we had the most delightful melon 'soup '. Main course for me which tested my french on the friendly proprietress was sweetbreads beautifully cooked. Finished off with a perfect souffle warm from the oven.
We had dinner here while staying the night in Amiens. It was such a nice discovery. They have a very good wine list and great service as well. Would recommend !!
Beautiful dishes, nice taste combinations in a small restaurant with only 6 tables. Woodfire makes it extra cosy and service is very friendly. Lots of daily suggestions next to the standard menu card. Very good price/value.
