The Plant Base - Amherstburg

I was looking for a nice healthy place in amherstburg during the visit of the family. hidden over this jewel of a place. amazing service and smoothie were exactly what I was looking for. Thank you!

I had a great experience with the plant base. I ordered cheesecake and the cheekberry quinoa salat and both items were ready on time and were delicious! the owner/manager is wonderful to treat with and very accommodating. paige also works there and is very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. so glad to have healthy options in the city and the Quinoa salad is my go to element to bring bbqs.

Well worth a visit. A small friendly staff were very helpful, the food tasted fantastic.

So we called a week in advance to order a cake for my mom's 60ths birthday. We had it pre ordered. My sister went to pick the cake up for us and was told by the manager no they already picked it up. She told her repeatedly that she was wrong until my sister said no I was just at their house so you are lying. The manager then admitted she was wrong and stated she gave the cake away to someone and apologized. The manager did not want to remake it so said just give them cut up pieces that were a mix of sitting or frozen in the back and pushed them together not matching colours or from same cake. We asked for a fresh cake and was told no because they close soon and won't be open Sunday (the party) to make it. When my sister then asked for a discount was told no you got a cake. So we did not get the cake we chose over a week ago. And had to pay full price for a mix of cake slices because the owner did not want to stay open to fix THEIR mistake.Lazy and poor management will never be ordering from this place again. Don't waste your time make the drive to LaSalle to get vegan cakes.
