Mexcalito Taco - Amherst

The bartenders were hilarious. They really like to make people laugh. You must try the fried cheese appetizer Queso Fundido, we ate it before I could take a picture. It was so amazingly good. I love extremely spicey flavors I always ask for their spiciest salsas the sauces are to die for.Parking: Depending on the night, there may be no parking or lots of parking. They are usually free after 6 or 8 pm

The chips were so thick and hard that I thought I was going to break a tooth. The guacamole tasted like it came from a frozen bag and the green and red salsas tasted like nothing. It was so bad we left before ordering our meals. If you can’t do chips and salsa right, I have no faith in the rest of the menu. Service was lovely.

I’m from Texas. Before Mexcalito opened, the only Mexican food I would eat was from another restaurant in Amherst. Mexcalito is even better than that one! The atmosphere is fantastic. Just wish they had tortilla soup. :0)

The staff was very courteous and Birria tacos and Churros were awesome!

Food was awesome and our waiter Matias was really nice. Mole enchiladas, birria tacos and carne asada tacos were all great.
