Bidra med feedbackOnly place ive found shaved ice near me. Good quality, fast. A tad expensive.
This place is amazing! As someone who has been to Hawaii multiple times, I've never found any shaved ice on the mainland that even comes close to Hawaiian shaved ice. Until I found Tropical Sno! This stuff is legit! The ice is so soft and smooth and not hard and crunchy like a lot of the other places around here and I love that they drench it with syrup too! They have a wide variety of flavors so everyone is bound to find something they like! I wish they would open a shack up in Longview they'd have absolutely no competition in the shaved ice business up here! Hint hint
How does some fluffy, creamy, drip free shaved ice piled mile high sound, Vancouver? Triple digits are coming up next week sooo... LETS! DO! TROPICAL SNO! My plus one and I arrived at 6pm on a warm and overcast Thursday in August. It's been hot as get out and we've been craving shaved ice. But not that crunchy stuff, dat good shaved ice. We like a shaved ice so fine its texture ranges between velvet and satin. We're looking for every bite to be flavorful and no patchy offerings. 10 points to anyone who puts condensed milk on their ice. Parking: Tropical Sno is located in a parking lot and there's plenty of easy parking. The lot has very steep entrance so make sure to take it slow, leave the low rider at home. We knew exactly what we wanted thanks Yelp menus! No line allowed us to walk right on up and get our separate cups. My food partner loves fruit flavors, the more tropical the better. Strong flavors but not sweet flavors are really their favorite. I unashamedly love vanilla. I came here for a double dose of vanilla NGL. Silver Fox Med vanilla, coconut, vanilla cream : YAAAAAS. Ahem, excuse me. Vanilla lovers rejoice, I present to you the Silver Fox. The ice is piled high atop the pure white beauty. The medium size I ordered is like a softball of fluffy shaved shaved ice adored above a big ole cuppa shaved ice surrounded by an absolutely welcomed drip tray. The center hole was delicious to puncture through and dig out the smoothest textured fluffed ice around. Not grainy, the Tropical Sno ice is fluffy. Oh, thank my stars. I've been craving fluffy ice in Vancouver and here it is. Why is fluffy ice my jam? Bingsu, people. Bingsu. Anyhow. Each bite is packed with flavor and the bottom slushy was a sugary delight. I felt like a hummingbird. This stuff gave me the afterwork energy to garden where I also filled up my hummingbird feeders. Thank you Tropical Sno and your welcome fellow hummingbirds! My rave review aside, my partner tried my flavor and looked at me like I was nuts. More on their disturbing flavor choices to come side eye . Paradise Island Med mango, guava, coconut cream : Again, piled high and drizzled with cream. Coconut cream this time. My partner was is love immediately. Cooing into the Sno cone as they tried to get into the car. Angry at me while I made them pose for a photo the price of Yelping . They dive into the cone which became a meal for them with the final bites rousing a deep sigh and a couple clicks back on the seat. BeenThere I tried a bite and was HIT WITH FLAVOR. Tropical flavors aren't particularly my speed and this was like... CABO! SPRING BREAK! WHOOO! I couldn't hang with the flavor and bowed out to my DELICIOUS, VANILLAY SILVER FOX. Which I highly recommend. Either way, come to Tropically Sno for the mild or the wild you're gonna leave full and happy. I hope you're a hungry hummingbird because Tropical Sno is the sweet treat you need in your life.
My go to spot for snow cones! highly recommend, they have so many flavors and their sizes are huge and definitely worth the price.
Appears to be closed, their website and phone message says they're open...but nope, they are not. They do not answer the phone or return calls, so it's impossible to tell what's going on with them. They trailer is t even on the property. Sad.
