La Casa Maya - Ames

Very nice place. Tables were clean, salsa n chips were delivered with the menus. Our waiter was very enthusiastic. food was good and reasonably priced.

The food and quantities here were great. We really enjoyed our drinks and meals. However, two facets keep it from being five stars. The first is that there was trash all around the facility and the bathroom trash cans were overflowing. Second, we weretold that items on the menu were gluten free but they weren't, evidenced by the gluten reaction of someone in our party.

This is not a place where we were often and here were a handful of times. eating is good and is her typical Mexican restaurant until eating. the service is just a step behind their competition around the city. we have never been impressed by the employees and have always waited for something. do not say that I would not recommend this place or its food, be it just for a little more casual service and maybe forget about it something prepared.

TOP NOTCH!! Friendly service, excellent food and delicious cheese sauce to top it off. Just left CA where there is a Mexican food restaurant on every other corner and this place would easily beat them in every way. Sadly just passing through town otherwise the staff and I would be on a first name basis as I would be there weekly. Thanks for the great experience!
