Kitchen Eighty-eight - American Fork

Been here twice because there have been so many people tell us how much the liked it. The dishes are presented nicely, but really lacks flavor. Needs a little work.

Very delicious! My husband was hooked on this place when they had their food truck, and now we make the drive to American Fork. He loves the tri-tip with the mashed potatoes and chimichurri sauce. I have tried the salads and the “BC” Burger, the balsamic ketchup adds the perfect amount of flavor without overwhelming the rest of the burger and separates it from the average cheeseburger. Black bean mango salad with steak is my absolute fav and a side of sweet potato fries. Sando is my second. Everyone I have taken here loves the food here. Always packed during lunch time so go before the rush You all need a SLC location

Food was great! Steaks melted in the mouth like they should. Salad was HUGE!

Kitchen 88 has raised their prices probably four times this year. This is bad practice when you build a loyal customer base. $15 steaks at the beginning of the year and now it’s $19. Inflation hasn’t gone up that much. Not affordable anymore. It costs more than a sit down restaurant.
