Bidra med feedbackI have to be completely honest, I had higher expectations coming here. Having lived in Beaver County for the last 15+ years, I heard countless great things about Frank's Pizzeria. Earlier this month, I finally had the chance to try their pizza for the first time, and I was left somewhat disappointed. The whole sauce-on-the-top approach didn't quite work for me. and the cheese was almost non-existent, which I consider a crucial part of a pizza. The green peppers and olives were too sweet for my taste and didn't pair well with the already sweet/tangy sauce. I also found their hours a bit odd, mostly being open for four hours a day. On a positive note, the staff were incredibly nice, and I truly appreciate Frank's Pizzeria's history and contribution to the area. It pains me to write less-than-positive reviews about small mom-and-pop shops, but I didn't feel that the pizza lived up to the 4.6-star rating.
A Must-Have When In Pittsburgh... Absolutely Delicious Fresh Pizza!!
In my opinion this is the best pizza on Earth. Maybe the entire galaxy. If you are lucky enough to actually get a pepperoni pie, be prepared to eat like an animal. They are only open a few hours before they sell out. The dough is baked with cheese under the sauce, topped with THICK pepperoni. The sauce is amazing. The crust is amazing. Cheese is amazing. It's like no other pizza.
Looking for the best slice of pie north of Pittsburgh? Look no further than Frank's Pizzeria in Ambridge! Step into a world where each bite transports you to the streets of Sicily, where the sauce is so tantalizingly delicious, you'll be tempted to eat it with a spoon.
Very nice small pizarra. But home cooked a d really flavorful
