Bidra med feedbackOk the meat is good! we can't say anything about it. On the other hand at 24 euros the steak we expect to have a nice and hearty piece of beef, homemade fries and a nice little sauce to wash it all down... The hamburger 16 euros, no sauce, no taste, the bread is dry... you can find much better. To conclude, it's not bad by far, but the quality price ratio is really not up to par. So we won't be going back...
Not much. Very expensive for what it is. No quality of service or products. To avoid. There is better in Amboise.
As a coeliac person, I really enjoyed having the opportunity to eat gluten free! The meat is amazing!
Unfortunately, we were only in Amboise two nights and the first night we were out of town on the balloon ride, so this was our only opportunity for a normal dinner. We certainly weren't disappointed by this restaurant. Our hotel recommended it and made reservations for us - reservations highly recommended, though I think that goes without saying for all good restaurants in France. Service was good - we had a young man who spoke good English and seemed happy to translate the menu for us. All of the meals were excellent and a reasonable value. I believe that all of the seating is outside, so this isn't a place you'll want to visit if it's raining unless they have a way to cover the terrace. I also suggest making a route recon prior to your reservation because this place is certainly off the beaten path. Thanks for reading. If you’ve found this helpful I’ll appreciate a thumbs up below.
