This place was recommended by the b b in which we were and we recommend the unicorn. excellent eating and our dog was made very welcome.

Great beer what's not to like about the Trooper on draught! Great food and super friendly staff. Best dog friendly pub in Ambleside with good atmosphere at weekends.

Another Fabulous Stay Over! Can’t fault anything, Paul staff very friendly always helpful! Lovely Breakfast served of a morning by Sandra, Rooms very clean, fresh towels, tea coffee replenished every day! Food is Lovely too, recommend the Chicken Curry! Looking Forward to our next Stay in February xx
