Quayside Cafe - Amble

At the bottom of the harbour amble you will find a great tasting chippy. sitting outside for a sunny day. there is nothing more than the vote of folk in the conversation to hear while they enjoy their bait.

First time in the refurbished restaurant and we were not disappointed! Lovely smiling waitress took our order and the food was hot, beautifully cooked all with great service! And the batter on the fish was to die for! Like The Terminator We 'll be back!

The dining experience was excellent, with great customer service. I would definitely return, and there’s nothing to complain about—I will be back!

The food is delicious and reasonably priced, featuring a classic chippy menu. The meals are not overly greasy, and the portions are generous. I found it easy to accommodate my elderly grandparents in the seating area, and the customer restrooms were convenient as well.

We arrived soaked with two very wet children, a roller, and a stroller. However, we were warmly welcomed and shown where to store the stroller out of the way. We enjoyed two generous portions of delicious chips. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the environment was very clean and tidy.
