Topp Stop Cafe - Amberley

Helpful friendly staff. Good selection of food from the cabinet or the blackboard menu us a FANTASTIC vegan menu. Comfortable rustic atmosphere. Large log fire warms the place on colder days. Nice place to visit when passing through or if you live in Amberley. Recommended.

Really good mince pie and good price too. Oh, and the coffee was one of the best I've had on NZ so far. Perfect stop on a drive along Highway #1!

We took the grandkids for lunch here. The food was fresh and delicious. Everything was clean and comfortable. They have magazines to share and a nice touch was a shared jigsaw puzzle. The kids milkshakes were lovely and the coffees were similarly delicious and well presented. We were able to order three sizes of coffees, small medium,large, and bowls, all of which had sample cups to show how big each was. The service was quick and the lovely waitresses were cheerful and welcoming. Well worth a visit.

Very good service, great coffee and a lovely breakfast. Clean and tidy. Was made to feel very welcome even though we were first in the door. Made us a coffee while we decided what to eat. Couldn't have had a nicer start to the day
