Bidra med feedbackI visited the coffee shop again and I have to agree with the review below. The teapots and other items were very stained. I chose a delicious Easter chocolate cupcake, but it was served on a stained saucer. These items are not inexpensive, so it was very disappointing to see them presented in such a way. It would be nice if the people serving had more consideration for the presentation of the food and dishes.
I took my friend out for lunch and we ordered sandwiches with a side of chips and two pots of tea. The sandwiches were delicious, but unfortunately the chips were not up to par. The tea cups and saucers were also stained, so I exchanged mine with my friend's. It's a shame that we had to complain about the cleanliness of the cups, saucers, and tea pots. Hopefully the restaurant will improve their maintenance so that customers can fully enjoy their dining experience without any issues.
Treated ourselves to a Saturday morning breakfast . One large , one small . Breakfast arrived , everything on the plate was cold . I spoke to the manager and he took it away and we waited for a replacement . When this arrived it was also cold so we asked for a refund . £10.99 £7.99) Very disappointed , we expected much more from this lovely garden centre .
Friendly staff. Bit of a queue to order. Where’s the ham on the menu? Ham sandwiches chips used to be lovely. Only with ploughmans now. Prawns with jacket potato were chewy thin sauce. Not pleasant. Unappetising salad. Bottles of mayo not as hygienic as sachets. Very nice citrus tart. Coffee shop section is very relaxing nicely set out. Different cakes to main cafe. Will continue to visit as have done for years but doubt for lunch as not so good today.
I was disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The prices were high considering the quality of the food. The cake I ordered was dry, and the layout of the restaurant, especially where the till is located, was not well thought out. It was confusing and unclear where to line up to pay.
