Barakah Restaurant - Amber Valley

6adaults and 2 small grandchildren were in our party and everything was brilliant. I have always had 1st class food and service at this restaurant

I’m absolutely fuming at the level of service from this place. I ordered a curry off Just Eat it told me my food would arrive in an hour, which I understood. 15 MINUTES after the arrival time it still hadn’t arrived so I called to chase it up. The girl on the phone who was TOTALLY unhelpful just said we’d have to wait another 25 MINUTES!!!!!!! What kind of service is this??? Also when I asked for discount she wouldn’t give any because I’ve ordered off just eat, which is fair enough but she didn’t offer me any extras or something to smooth over the massive **** up!! Never eating here again! Mainly because of how rude the girl was and how **** the service is. RANT OVER!

I went to this restaurant for a curry, but there was no one inside. I was greeted by the same girl as last time, who was still not smiling. I wondered if she really wanted to be there. The food arrived and it was delicious, with just the right amount of heat. If the girl had been more welcoming, I would have given this place a 4 out of 5 rating.

After a lengthy visit, we stopped by this restaurant for a quick meal. The food was tasty and served quickly, but our order was incorrect and there were very limited drink options available as most items were out of stock. The server, a young woman, was a little abrupt as well. The food was enjoyable, but the restaurant lacked ambiance.

During our holiday, we enjoyed a wonderful meal at this restaurant. We visited on a Thursday night and took advantage of the 5-course meal offer for £12.95. The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and the staff provided pleasant service. The venue was clean and comfortable, and we appreciated the option to bring our own alcohol. We highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area.
