Sushi House - Amarillo

Food is good but the service isn’t great. The attitude of the staff sucks. I’ve had a waitress that insisted on keep all the cash for her tip the last time I was served. She had messed up our order and kept adding dishes to our ticket that we didn’t order. This time we were finished and were talking for five minutes and were told to leave. As if there wasn’t enough tables for them to sit people at. Food is good but I’d rather have good service with it.

Not very goodFor the price I paid, $26 for both rolls. 15 for the crunchy roll and 9 for the philly, higher than the menu online) I recieved inconsistent amount of ingredients in each bite and rice that fell apart very easily. They charged me for extra sauce, which im not opposed to but I asked if they were extra over the phone and was told no, and the philly roll tastes way better than the crunchy roll. The one that cost me 6 more dollars is the lesser tasting one. It is surprisingly very sweet, and kind of mushy in the mouth, not very crunchy. I was not told the price at the end of the take out order which I thought was ok because their menu is posted online here. But everything was 2-3 dollars more expensive.

Iced tea tasted like water was from aquarium. Fried squid WAS NOT squid mystery round eraser with stomach contents like un purged oysters. Tempura batter oily cooked in oil that wasnt hot enough so batteries soaked it up. Combo fried rice tasted like fish that had gone off.NOT GOOD. FELT NAUSEOUS ALL AFTERNOON.

Food was good, if just slightly pricey, clear soup is very smooth and warming. I would recommend a fresh roll over one that is fried or baked. Jungle roll was excellentFood: 4/5
