Granted, there are not a lot of healthy vegan or vegetarian options in Amarillo, TX. However, EatRite is expensive and the food is blah. Grocery section is disorganized. Go to Market Street United a couple of blocks away for produce, soy/almond/coconut milk, tofu, tempeh, Vegenaise, etc. or Natural Grocers in the shopping center at Coulter 34th. Skip this place.
Was brought here by my grandmother when we went out of town, and I tell them that hummus sandwich they were bombed! the veggie rühr-fry was also sapper yummy (they use tofu instead of truthahn).
I've also witnessed her handing a broom to a customer who accidentally spilled salt, which felt unprofessional. During my time there, I saw her yell at another customer who had already weighed their salad and simply wanted more dressing. It seems like she could benefit from some understanding and support, especially considering this could be related to her personal challenges. If she visited a natural food store, I’m sure they could recommend some vitamins that might help her.
I was so relieved to discover a restaurant that offers fresh greens, a variety of lentils, vibrant kale, and an assortment of delicious vegetables to sample. They also have fresh juices and a complete menu to choose from.
