Applebee's Grill - Amarillo

We used to frequent the Applebees on Soncy. During Covid we’d go in to get on the list. They never called the 2 times we did this. 2 weeks ago we went in and we’re seated. The glasses of tea were extremely dirty. We ordered an appetizer, a burger and a house salad. We sat for 1.5 hours and no appetizer or food. The couple who came in after us was seated on other side of the restaurant and they had their food and were leaving. Still no food. We sat a few more minutes and just got up and left. The lady who sat us and the cook were yelling off and on while we were there. This restaurant has definitely gone down and just is not worth stepping inside the door.

I usually love Applebee's but this last time wasn't the best. My mom and I sat for ages just to order, and when the food arrived my chicken was chewy and I couldn't finish. Thankfully the rest of the meal was very tasty, but we sat forever waiting for our waitress to fill out drinks and then bring the bill. I understand staff is low and workers are struggling, I was once one, but I think things could have been handled better

I really wish they would invest in cleaning the seats! The cabin seats are all stained and have been so for a long time. I love their food, but the culinary experience is less than par.

Terrible customer service waitress completely inattentive. The door is suspended in 10 degrees, they won't keep it freezing. Bus girl told me that it slowly closes that I told her that it remains open that she looked out and said I will tell the manager. Nothing has been done. Never ranch for the pommes I asked twice. My daughter Pizza came 10 minutes after my meal. We also waited 10 minutes to get orders and it is not busy

Lunch on the way home 26. December. It was just before 2:00 and we sat right away. Our service was very friendly and polite. We have our meals very soon after the order. We both had the chicken and shrimp combo with red potatoes. Everything was cooked for perfection. As a bonus we got both “To Go” cup refills. Service was so fast that we also during relaxation in approx. 35 minutes back on the street. I've never been disappointed with an Applebee. You are also very veteran friendly. I had many free meals at Veterans Day.
