Main Street Tavern - Amagansett

Lovely evening at this restaurant. The food was very good, and presentation perfect. The staff is very friendly and down to earth. We will definitely return, when we travel to this area! ?

Had a beautiful lunch today at Main Street Tavern. From the delicious food to the strong drinks, my group had an enjoyable time. Would definitely come back next time I'm in town!

A random lunch here on Labor Day turned out to be splendid. Clam toast, I think? It was fantastic. Crispy shrimp — ORDER THIS. Even the cheeseburger was great, a perfect medium. Highly recommend!

Nice place.. we had only a half hour to sit and eat before we needed to get next door to the Talkhouse for a show, and they got our food to us quickly with some time to spare. Bar and barroom was full, so we sat in the dining room next door. Very clean and updated. Service was very efficient and friendly (dining room only about half full). The tap beers were fresh and ice cold. I had the standard burger, wife had fish and chips, and son had chicken fingers. The portions of the chicken and the fish were on the small side, but everything was very fresh and good. The only thing was the check.. with a $20 tip on a $94 bill, not sure how I spent $114 in there for a quick bite for three people. Didn't seem like we had alot of food to justify spending $114 for the price (Burger was 19, and fish chips was 25). But food and drinks were all very good, and they got us out of there in a half hour which was amazing.

By far the worst service I have ever received! Restaurant had many empty tables on this Monday and lots of staff walking around in circles. Took over 10 minutes for server to come after we sat down and then came to say are you ready to order. Then drinks which were 2 sodas and 1 cocktail took another 10 minutes. Food was terrible steamed dumplings so salty that they were inedible, burgers were bland with no flavor thank god for ketchup. Definitely not going back!
