Shipley Do-nuts In Alv - Alvin

Wanted to edit my post on this as the place has changed hands and Shipley's shut their location down here. Some of the same people that had worked here now own it and Chanthan manages it. They have brought back a tremendous selection. And many of the items tastes significantly better than the past owner recipes. Haven't had anything today's date that I haven't enjoyed. I've even made a significant effort to the go there more often. Enjoy friendshipping with other customers as well as so many are happy to talk. Really like it. They now call it Friendly Doughnuts Very friendly. Really appreciate Chanthan as she is so friendly and is so welcoming. Enjoy a special treat with the donuts. Miss the sausage egg biscuits they used to have 8/29/21 another update long overdue. Chanthan worked for the Shipley owners as the transitioned and she has moved to the highway 6 store. The new owners are the Nou's (pronounced New). They are really awesome! They have brought back a large selection including my favorite sausage egg cheese biscuit! They even will make my wife's favorite Bullseye when she asks. Really enjoy visiting with them when we go. We had them do some pink Doughnuts holes for my daughter's baby shower and they decorated a bunch more for free and gave them to us. They were like in a magazine! So impressed! Update: really like to bring friends here to treat to a good breakfast

This is called Friendly Donut, not Shipley's, and the kolaches are so much better.

It might be nice to at least have one doughnut in the morning when you open or don’t call your doughnut shop a doughnut shop instead call it a breakfast to go store
