Bidra med feedbackMy husband and I have been to Hawks Head several times in the past. Each time we went were very happy with our dinners. Saturday’s visit was equally wonderful. On a beautiful summer day it’s difficult to leave the beach to go indoors. We were seated near the windows and felt like we were outside despite being inside. The staff could not have been nicer. I requested a drink not typically on the menu and the bar tender quickly mixed it for me. The food was delicious. The portions were so big we couldn’t finish our dinner. We were too full for desert which was too bad because they sounded wonderful. I have only one suggestion. On the menue was what sounded like an an interesting appetizer…. Potatoe chips with lots of toppings (honey, blue cheese, bacon, blueberries) We would have tried them but there was only one size and I presume it was large because it cost $18. Thank you
The wife and I had a few days away and had a pre paid voucher for a night stop in this lovely hotel with breakfast and an evening meal , we was made most welcome by the reception staff who took time to tell us all about the place , we enquired about the evening meal and was given the standard menu to look at and think about , I must say the wife has a stomach that cannot tolerate certain foods so it was good to see a nice selection ,apon arriving for our meal when told them we had a voucher for our meal the main menu was taken from us to be replaced by what can only be described as a cut price minimal items selection well I had the fish and chips 4 10 the wife was a plate of hard and unappetising mess mushroom Risotto in Truffle oil 1 10 ok we got through that in the evening the wife fancied an Irish coffee well after a lot of fluffing around two arrived with a bar bill , now we often have these in London this cost was £17 40 Approx yes that's correct needless to say all drinks and food came from the nice basic pup hotel down the road for the rest of our stay
Haven’t been here in years because we moved but the food Is still just as we remembered, delicious! I had the whitefish, husband had the salmon and my friend had the Buddha bowl and all were very good. And you can’t beat the views!
The food is good. Sorry we had the scallops appetizer.2 scallops for $18. Was steep. Atmosphere more casual than what you would think considering the prices.
We came to Inn to celebrate anniversary. We enjoyed it very much. Staff was super friendly! We had a room on 3rd floor stayed in Bobby Jones Haven room. View of golf course, would of preferred nature view on other side but it was booked but will keep that in mind for future. Room was clean, cozy, and quiet! We had room service from restaurant. It was very tasty! They even brought up to our room on 3rd floor no elevator: Close to town but not in town which is perfect for us! Fun things to see and do in South Haven. We took our bikes and rode them on trail to Van Buren State Park. Lovely ride! I would come back here anytime. Thank you for making our trip enjoyable!
