I guess "so-so" may best describe my D'Kiriko experience. Service is slow. My food was lukewarm. Bread is pretty good. Orange juice is not natural. Valet parking is probably the only thing I have nothing to complain about. We sat in the yard, which has...More
If you visit the San Angel neighborhood please stop by D'Kirico Restaurant and try one of these four:1.- Crujiente de caviar de anchoas2.- Carpaccito de alcachofa con lajas de queso parmesano, manzana amarilla y arugula3.- Filete de res con costra de pimienta negra y salsa de queso manchego semi curado4.- Mini Créme Bruleé y Mousse de chocolate oscuro. They serve mexican breakfast aswell. They have around 30 wine brands. Ask for the Mexican ones
This is a great place to have brunch while exploring the Saturday art market at San Angel. They offer parking and will validate if you eat there. We stopped in on a busy Saturday, but were seated right away. Service was good, attentive and relatively fast. They have menus in English if you need it. I had the enchiladas which were in an amazing green chili sauce made from poblano peppers. Omletes were also well done. They bring a selection of sweet rolls early on as well. Prices were quite reasonable, with the 4 of us eating for about $30US total. Get a seat on the patio if it available. It is a nice relaxing place.
The location is charming overlooking a beautiful private garden and you can feel relaxed. The menu is simple but we had a nice meal with pasta. Service can be improved.
