Grouse's Nest Lounge - Altoona

First time there. Had the new York strip. Was absolutely delicious ?. Would drive 3 hours to do it again.Food: 5/5

Stayed the night at the hotel that the Grouse nest is in. Sat at the bar and had a Greek salad with salmon and a glass of wine. The bartender was great and the service as well. My check was $20The background music was great too.I’d go there again if I’m in the area.

The food was delicious! The pretzel was huge, 7 of us ate some as an appetizer and I had to take some home for the next day! The beer cheese that went with it was the best I've ever had. The steaks were so good!Food: 5/5

They served me a brown salad not just a little it was all old the rest of the food was ok . No kids menu The service is a joke we waited for 20 mins for our drinks to come then we did not see the server till she had check . If it was busy I would definitely understand but only one other customer sitting at bar. Later that night we wanted a drink before bed and again service was terrible bar tender did not even look at us we had to flag her down after standing there 10 mins. The atmosphere was ok .but did have to run when shots were fired . The hotel part is amazing

Great food, drinks and not overcrowded but just enough people to keep them busy. The waitresses and bar tender were very . the steak sub was good but a little pricey for how much you get. Overall enjoyed eating here and talking to the people who work there, they were all accommodating and kind.Food: 4/5
