A nice place to go with your dog when the sun shines. Not so nice when it is wet or cold as there is no covered area. Always a good selection of plants, cakes, meat and pies plus gardening tools etc.
I really enjoy this garden center, and the café is quite nice with a solid menu. In addition to the prepared meals, there’s always a great selection of cakes. I had a large latte and a piece of cake for £5.49. The restrooms are conveniently located and very clean. It’s a lovely spot to visit and catch up with friends. They also follow good COVID safety measures.
The restrooms were impeccably clean and featured proper toilet paper instead of the thin, unpleasant paper that many places use. While they had a great variety of plants, it's worth noting that if you're looking for larger shrubs, this might not be the best place for you. However, they did have a nice selection of fruit trees. In addition to the plant offerings, there is an Edinburgh Woolen Mill and a Works unit, as well as a small food area and a Metzger. All the staff members were welcoming and eager to assist. Overall, it was a delightful experience!
I was very pleased with the service. I recently purchased a large planner that fits perfectly in the space I have. I wasn't sure how to get it home, but they offered free delivery, which was a great help. The delivery was impressive on its own, especially considering I ordered it on Bank Holiday Monday, and it arrived by 9:30 AM on Wednesday—super fast! They even called to keep me updated and make sure the plant arrived at the right location. Overall, a fantastic experience!
