Naturhotel Gasthof Barenfels

We'll stop them on our family trip. We were very happy with nice locals and good German hospitality. The reason why not 5 started was that the young person did not speak English to explain what is on our menu. We... tried Google translators, but not Internet that we just try to speak our English German to order a food. The food was nice, but not what we drank. Maybe if they are internet or English menu will be helpful. My wife order Steak and it was good, but not what we use under Steak in Colorado. I had a fish and it wasn't the freshest fish, because I got plenty of water from it at dinner. I don't complain about the food I think we couldn't order the right food. Maybe next time in winter we will stop for a good German atmosphere and good food. Thank you.

,,, on a rather opulent meal, wse had steak and the seedlings and finished it with a dessert (too sweet for me) and a local schnapps. not gourmet, but a solid German cuisine

We stayed at the berenfels gastronomic farm for a few days, and ate there. the family room (two separate bedrooms) is simply too small for a 4 family. in the larger room lacks a wardrobe, some of the equipment is simply not covered. the cleanliness in the bathroom can be improved with safety ( toilet brush, dirty fugen e.g.) . bad internet access, despite great advertising for Wifi.Access for this.breakfast has offered very good quality of the individual products! only the presentation allows a lot to love. the service of this house revalues all negative points. very nice staff, only the owners of the gasthof offered a rough dish. suitable for eating with the family, not to stay for us personally.

The gasthof is located in the very quiet area of Bärenfels. the original large gas room makes a welcoming impression. the large menu and the selection of wines leave no wish. the food and the service were very good.

An evening in the large winter garden with mountain views is really a dream! the menu offers a colourful selection of regional and supra-regional dishes, with the ingredients the focus being placed on products from the region (and these mostly in organic quality!).The service is fast and super friendly. we can only recommend the restaurant!
