Had lunch here today in this beautiful old pub with a view of a pond. we chose fish and chips and really enjoyed them. the personal was so friendly and efficient, we loved it. we will definitely return.

Quaint old-fashioned style. Wonderful outside seating area with beautiful view of a lake with variety of bird-life. Staff very welcoming. My meal was plentiful and tasty.

Friendly staff on arrival ..food freshly cooked and plentiful. Fresh home made bread with meal was tasty. Beautiful setting overlooking a large lake.

Karen the Globe Team, what can we say. We had our wedding here 7th May 2022. Upon booking and meeting Karen in April 2021 we felt instantly at ease, Karen's friendly, down to earth nature made planning our wedding super easy, there was no stress which usually there is when planning a wedding but not at The Globe. When it came to our wedding day, well what can we say absolutely first class. Nothing was too much trouble, glasses were never empty, the food was amazing. We our guests are still talking about our day 7 weeks later. The setting, the atmosphere everything was perfect. Karen, Paul Sarah (the managers on the day) the rest of Karen's amazing team, our wedding day went above beyond our expectations we thank you so much. The Longman's.

I had an excellent lunch at the restaurant. I opted for the fishcake as a starter, while my daughter chose a side of fries, and my 17-year-old son decided to have lemon as his dish—an unusual combination, but everyone got exactly what they wanted. Everything was perfectly cooked. I plan to return with my wife for a proper meal next time. The view of the sea is lovely when you get a good table, though in the summer, it feels more like dining in a garden with glimpses of the water.
