Dashi Japanese - ALRESFORD

I love this place from his quirky, 80's lounge interieur to his amazing eating. bit off the beaten track in some way, but its a beautiful running gear as well.

So was talking to the Veg stal sellers in Winchester early in the year and he said that the Thai Lounge was a Must Go ! So we went on the 16/12/20 Really enjoyed our visit. Friendly staff. Good service. Calm atmosphere. It was quiet the whole time we were there. Only a handful of people dining. Comfortable sitting area. The food was excellent. My girlfriend loves Asian cuisine and she said it was one of the tastiest asian meals she's had. She spent 3 months in Asia so knows what she is talking about. Driven past this restaurant so many times and never really paid it any attention. Its not in the nicest place being next to a petrol station and the A31. When your inside though it does not bother you. A must visit. Will be back.

As someone from Thailand, I can be very fussy about eating at Thai restaurants. However, I highly recommend Thai Lounge. Very authentic and flavourful food, and well presented. Not to be compared to the other Thai chain restaurants, this place is a class above.

This is the 2 nd time I have visited this restaurant as it’s a three hour drive for us . It’s a fantastic experience and well worth a visit . The food is superb and the staff are lovely . Highly recommend the food as it’s not the usual Thai food from chain restaurants.

Delicious Thai food and lovely staff. The Thai lounge was booked for us to stop and have lunch on our way back from a camping trip, it's a great little spot though we felt a bit under dressed in our trainers and jeans but the staff didn't seem to mind. The food was fresh and delicious, the service is very quick and the staff is happy to help with any questions. The mango cake was a hit our 7yr old who polished it off in record time. We would definitely recommend.
