Friendly. Mostly local folk but we had a great night with them so returned the next night. There is live entertainment some days

Really friendly and helpful staff. They had stopped serving food, and happily recommended other pubs, still serving. They also cancelled our drinks, realising we would need to get food sorted 1st. Returned later in evening, and tho it was quiet we enjoyed the pub very much, due in part to the kind staff.

The bartender is the best in Alnwick! I just had to mention that because he's so great! Ha!

The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere with a friendly staff. It's a clean, traditional art pub that's definitely worth a visit.
