Bidra med feedbackI do have a soft spot for Russian and Ukrainian cuisine. For me, they represent a perfect example of comfort food. Previously this restaurant was our go-to spot for Eastern European food, and while the location we frequented has since closed, this network of restaurants might still be the best in town for that kind of food. Four years later, I didn't notice any significant price changes. However, portions got noticeably smaller, which is a reasonable strategy considering the growing costs of ingredients. If you ask me, I would also remove unnecessary and outdated food decorations and things like fancy paper napkins to cut down costs further. Other than that, the food is still good, and our lunch was pleasant. Many new dishes I'm interested in trying. And we were glad to find okroshka (cold Russian soup) with kvass, which proved to be not so easy anymore around Almaty. On Tuesday during lunchtime, they have weighty discounts for the whole menu, so that might be a perfect time to visit this restaurant for the first time.
Food was original and outstanding. all payment methods accepted, use the one english menu and lay it next to the russian one and the waiter will understand what you want to order or use a translator app. you ll be fine….
Convenient for lunch before a visit to the art gallery. The staff were very efficient and the food good.
Food is great, but service can be improved. Waited 15 minutes for beer from tap how hard is that?
It is very nice to sit down, soothe. it is worth visiting for a talk with friends or business partners. not as much space as I think is good. traditional Russian food with an excellent value for money. service was very attentive and friendly. a bit loud from the road to sit outside. better table decorated in beautiful and neat to choose.
