Pinta Grill - Almaty

I visited another pint in Almaty. I enjoyed it, but my partner is back at Hotel Kazakhstan.

Very cool! I don't know what happened, but I hadn't been to Pinta for 2 years. Maybe the chef and concept have changed, but the dishes were delicious, low-fat, and moderately salty! Right in the café, I tried the shrimp with sweet and sausage that they cooked perfectly! I appreciate quality and craftsmanship, so anything close to 2000 tenge is worth it for me! Overall, it was a lovely day and you can enjoy your meal in a relaxed and aesthetically pleasing atmosphere. The service is great, the staff is beautiful and polite.

It was okay. I'm sure it would have been better had we been drunk. We didn't realize it was a bar that happened to serve food. We thought it was a restaurant. We saw families dining there through the windows so we thought we'd try it out. The service was excellent. The beer was cheap. The food was terrible. Terrible. We definitely will not be going back. I understand once you're drunk the taste of the food doesn't matter so much and most people probably go there for the alcohol. The service really was great. That's why they're getting the 3 stars from me. I wish I had gotten our server's name. He tried his best to speak some English, I tried my best to speak some Russian. He was quick, efficient, and incredibly friendly. For stressed out shoppers needing a drink in the mall maybe this is the place to go.
