The Bistro At Lakeland Village

We tried The Bistro as we were staying in an AirBnB in the Lakeland Village. The food, service and atmosphere was so great, that we 'll probably visit Allyn from Seattle just to visit the Bistro. It 's heaven if you love seafood. My favorite was their "sexy shrimps ' starter, followed by clam chowder and the fish and chips. All of them were great. If you 're vegetarian, you can try their garlic cheesy bread or Fettuccine Alfredo too. Absolutely amazing food. Great friendly service. We sat in the bar that was pretty busy our food came out hot and fresh in a very timely fashion. I got the rib special Absolutely the best ribs I have had in a long time. You can tell th we chef is experienced and cooks with a lot of passion! Sarah from the bar is very friendly and attentive Can honestly say this is one on my new favorite restaurants. The view on the golf course was a beautiful setting. Slllllooooowwww service. Ridiculously slow. Wasn't told or didn't see a staff shortage. I'd have empathy if I had been told upfront it's gonna be slow. We were there after dinner time. Dry crab cakes Catfish was soggy Fries were good Wanna scare yourself? Wander back to the dirty restrooms and take a gander in the kitchen YIKES! It's a greasy mess! Don't slip on the greased out floors back there. Outside dining was pleasant, there's a loud toad in the pond. Food was terrible. Fish and chips, fish was just frozen fish and both the fish and fries tasted like they were fried in very old grease. Hubby had chicken Caesar wrap that was very dry and tasteless.
