Shanty On 19th (the) - Allentown

We started with the peel and eat shrimp, which were fantastic. I ordered the Shanty Burger, which I recognized from the tv show. I asked for it cooked medium, and it was perfect - great flavor and very juicy. The only downside was that our waiter was quite inattentive and we had to flag him down several times. However, I still plan on returning. I own a few businesses myself and I enjoy supporting local establishments. To the owners of this restaurant, you have a wonderful place with good food and beautiful decor. I'm happy to see it doing well and I encourage you to keep up the good work!

The service at this restaurant was extremely slow. Despite the requirement for masks, several customers were allowed in without one and no staff members were wearing masks, except for one cook. The gambling games available did not have sanitizer or wipes nearby, and the restaurant was reusing paper menus, which goes against CDC guidelines. Although I am currently immune to C-19, as someone with underlying health conditions, I am concerned about the health risks for others. The food was good, but the waffles were dry and lukewarm, with the chicken being the best part of the meal. Unfortunately, the experience was soured by these issues. I would recommend finding another place for brunch. Additionally, the restaurant's political decor was off-putting as I come here to eat, not to discover their politics. It was not that I disagreed with it, but I found it to be a tacky business decision.

This restaurant is amazing. I have been wanting to go here for years, but something always came up. Finally, on my wife's birthday, we decided to try something new. First, let's talk about the parking. The parking lot is huge. When you enter the restaurant, it has a cozy log cabin feel with a touch of charm. We were seated and greeted by Ronnie, our waiter. He was friendly and always had a smile on his face. Our food came out quickly and was cooked to perfection. I highly recommend this place for any occasion. Check out the pictures.

Visited Mother 's Day 2019 Had a wonderful Mother 's Day Brunch..nice place and we all enjoyed our selections and should add the special **** Mary was a big hit also. This place is off our regular 'beaten ' path so I have to make a point of remembering it when we 're thinking of a place to go. Service was also very good/friendly staff. All good.Thank you.

Was 5 stars 3 years ago, I just had dinner 6/9/2022 and was served the fattiest stake along with cold perogies.. I was hoping your food would stay amazing but it doesn't seem to have.
