Old Belmont Inne - Allentown

Ice cold beers! One of the best tacos in the Lehigh Valley. Neat old wooden bar. Great service. Plenty of parking in the back for cars and motorcycles.

Just a local bar. Not the place it used to be. Drinks good, bartender very nice.

This review is from 2009 and should be taken down from this site. The Belmont Inn has a new owner, and everything I've learned about both the Inn and its new owner has been nothing but positive!

The food might be decent, but the owner's behavior is enough to deter anyone from coming back. I recently had to cancel a reservation and called the Belmont 24 hours in advance to let them know. I was shocked to receive a voicemail from the owner, filled with profanity and insults. This is certainly not how to attract customers. I wouldn’t set foot in this place even if they were giving away food, and I’ll be sure to warn everyone I know to stay away. There are plenty of wonderful places to enjoy a night out without having to deal with such rude and foul-mouthed service. Do yourself a favor and avoid this restaurant!
