We stayed next door to this restaurant I’m letting everyone know we have been alykanas twice and this place is the most traditional restaurant on the strip. This is our 3rd night in 5 and we know from first hand experience this is the best restaurant here, we tried baked feta with peppers..meat balls in sauce (better than any Italian meatballs I’ve ever had) saganaki is so soft and the beef stefado is off the chart.. lovely family run restaurant, don’t want to go home, staff are friendly and welcoming

Numerous trips to Alykanas and this by far is the best restaurant on the strip! The staff are so friendly and attentive, very polite and helpful also. Great choice of food with a large menu. I'm always a little wary of big menus but this place seems to deliver on everything we try. My partner always absolutely loves their beef stifado (says it's the just the best on the island!! and I've had the salmon in white sauce which is absolutely delicious. Greek potatoes are always to die for! Great value for money, great service and an extra benefit if u have young kids there's (4+ a play area inside the restaurant so you can keep yours eyes on them. All in all, every time we come to Alykanas, this place always wins time and time again.

My boyfriend and I had the seafood deal for 2 people and were really looking forward to it, but it was really disappointing. The fish was cold, tasted burnt, the octopus and squid rings were hard to chew, and the mussels tasted horrible. You could tell none of the fish was fresh. The dish came with fries, rice and salad. The rice was cold, as well. Overall, not a good experience and for the service provided, it was definitely overpriced. The staff was nice tho.

The food was simply AMAZING!!!! We took the “meat meeze for 2” as recommended by the waiter. BEST DECISION EVER!! The lamb and the beef perfectly cooked. Literally melts in your mouth, and everything else on the side was delicious. It is my first day here and I am afraid that I wont find another place with at least “this good” food as here. Staff really nice and polite. Served us pretty fast for what was in here. Expectations sky-rocketed after this taverna.
