Bidra med feedbackVisiting Alicante but looking for places preferred by locals? El sorbo is a small bottega with very good wines and vermuts; they also have a careful variety of tapas. The place is lovely decorated and the music very enjoyable. Very recommendable.
We stumbled upon this bar because we were staying in an Airbnb in the flats above. Such a brilliant find. The staff were wonderful- gave us great recommendations for wine and tapas, made us up delicious plates of ham and cheese and incredibly delicious salmon. Couldn’t recommend more highly. A decent bottle of red €15 and very high quality embutidos and cheese at very reasonable prices. Wish we’d not had such big lunches to have tried more of the menu! We went back on our second night as it was such a warm and welcoming ambience and such a lovely place to catch up.
I went to El Sorbo during my recent trip to Alicante, Spain and I totally loved it. It has the perfect ambiance! It is family-owned, cozy, and the atmosphere is friendly. They have a variety of appetizers and they are all delicious. It is very clean and the bathrooms are impeccable. If you visit Alicante, don’t miss it, it is highly recommended! I look forward to going back! Love you El Sorbo!!!
