Arowhon Pines Restaurant

Visited in juli with family. eating hasn't what it was before. too often no items were available in the menu on the “Help itself table”. we were served by the same waiter during our stay for all 3 daily meals. he insisted...to do everything himself-serve coffee, changing cutlery, clean dishes etc. our service delays great time. Certainly others would have done some of these smaller tasks. develops with the bad organization of the meal and dining room service mainly in terms of price paid.

Excellent local cuisine. everything is freshly cooked and the menu changes daily. the environment is beautiful and rustic. views of the algonquin park are visible from each table. dinner with an appetizer, before homemade suppen and salads begin their culinary adventure. the most important courses are...origin and full taste. desserts are a must.

Due to COVID restrictions, we were seated on the veranda of the restaurant, which was a delightful experience. The service was top-notch, with friendly staff wearing masks. We dined alongside loons and hummingbirds, with the sounds of other nearby lakes in the background. The food options were fantastic, with a variety of choices including vegetarian dishes and generous portions. We ate all of our meals there over the course of three days and were never let down. One of my favorite moments was hearing the dinner bell ring in the evening, next to the call of the loons.

Dining with a group of university friends 45 years ago was a delightful experience. The buffet spread was plentiful and offered many unexpected dishes. We were encouraged to bring our own beverages, which enhanced the overall enjoyment of the evening. Overall, it was a fantastic meal.

This dining room is authentic with a blazing fire. The staff are quick and helpful. You can eat there even if you do not stay there. The food is great and they have a buffet along with items you can order from the menu. The...food is gourmet and lovely.
