Maharaja Kouba - Algiers

Very delicious. Must visit place if you crave for Indian food in Algeria.

Yes! Yes! Yes! I was craving Indian food and this hit the spot. First of all, the decor/lighting is so beautiful and colorful. The waiters were very attentive and wore mask for precautious which in my opinion makes me feel just better about safety protocols being followed. The food was served very quickly and warm. Got the Daal and Butter chicken and the cheese naan (not pictured). Can’t wait to go back.

Hello. I'm sorry to lead the mood. This restaurant has fallen sharply in quality. The staff is always as friendly but food is no longer what it was at the opening of the restaurant. It is extremely “localized” Indian Having visited several regions of India, I found no authentic flavor. Moreover, many dishes are not available, especially those with chick peas that I wanted to discover. Add paper sheets! A "no choice" of drinks. No, definitely not. 2 stars for staff. And the rates are exaggerated. Too bad. The competitors, without mentioning them, do much better especially that on the Chéraga road side.
