Almacafe Alghero Closed

It was a lucky day for me and my husband when we found this fantastic little restaurant. You know you're in for a great meal when the patrons are all locals. The owner is very welcoming and friendly. The menu changes daily, I believe, so scan the chalkboard outside the front door and/or inside on the wall. The owner was more than happy to explain any dishes that were unfamiliar to us. I've become a great fan of local Sardinian dishes especially those made with fava beans. This has become our go to restaurant for our 2 month stay in Alghero.
