Bidra med feedbackAs you can imagine, you can never really go ‘wrong’ with baked goods, the alexandria branch I believe has the bread house as well as an attached cafe. There’s a wide range of brekkie dishes, sandwiches and of course bread. In this instance we took it to go, almond croissant $5), pain au chocolat $5), pork/fennel sausage roll $7) and a chilli/ garlic sourdough twist $6.50). The croissants are good but pretty standard tastes better when lightly toasted), the sausage roll was good nice fennel flavour and juicy filling), but the star was the sourdough. Such a nice yeast flavour, great by itself but would have been even better with a bruschetta or dip of some sort. Highly recommend this!
Been here a few times and consistently great coffee. Love the baguettes as well. Haven’t had a chance to try the food yet but keen to come back for it.
Got there way too late for breakfast (a bit disappointed as really wanted to try their French Toast or Chilli Ricotta scramble eggs). They also ran out of pies by the time we got seated. There's a bit of wear with the furnishings as the cover of couch we were sitting on most of the faux leather were peeled off. Service was a mostly ok, but not really the most friendly. Aside from these the food were quite nice. I had enjoyed my haloumi burger, the chips were very moorish, as with my friend who got the Blackmore Cheese Burger. A bit out of the way unless you live around the area or visiting in the vicinity.<br/ <br/
Lovely friendly staff and beautiful food. Eggs cooked to perfection, beautiful sourdough and amazing butter. Not to mention delicious coffee
I don't normally like to eat bread but I definitely don't mind a visit to Sonoma for a cheeky snack. The ladies behind the counter are always friendly, and they do quite nice coffee. I always get the Avocado on toast, simple and predictable but it never disappoints.
