Oak Steakhouse- Alexandria

What a wonderful meal! our server paris was amazing to eat phenomenal (forgive the black bubbly appetitic fishermen melt in your mouth,) and the perfect place to celebrate my friends 40th birthday. will be safe again.

Great food and service. was not there in a house and reminded me how wonderful this restaurant is. we'll go back.

We loved the whole vibe of oak. our server, gigi, was super thought-out, warm and had simply the perfect arrangement. the appetizers were really good and put the ton for the rest of the course. our second time there and certainly not be the last.

Oak is always alive, alive and delicious. the menu is not extensive, so everything is carefully designed. love the Brussel shoots, they're so good. we're never disappointed when we come here.

A steakhouse? I would argue to drop the steakhouse from the name. The cowboy steak was flavorless and underwhelming. The steak and frites should probably be renamed to FRITES and some steak. The specialty cocktail was similar to a swig of Robitussin, the crudo was much of the same disappointment, and the delivery was snail speed. The highlight of the evening would be the friendly staff and the cobbler. Not worth a repeat visit.
