Bidra med feedbackGot takeout and this place was really good, it didn't taste like it was sitting out under a heat lamp or anything. chicken was tender and had an extremely good flavor, the skin was crunchy and had a good sauce ratio. fries were good and crispy. rice was extremely good too. prices not bad for area and for the amount of food you get, had enough to feed me my girl and still have leftover for the family feast item. staff seems friendly. service was quick. place seems clean. overall good first experience and will definitely be going back.
We ordered out. Doordash charges are what they are. Yet receiving undercooked/raw chicken is a major mistake. We've ordered from the Arlington location before and we have never had this occur. We ordered the Family XL meal. Came from the Alexandria location. Although we received a partial refund from doordash, we're faced with the possibility of being sick for being served good that should never be given to anyone.
So CLEARLY?. I?m not the only one bamboozled by the name ?Bonchon? on the front of this store. I second every negative complaint out on this feed. My strips were not the advertised ?Korean soy-garlic strips? They were dry, overcooked commercial order traditional strip. Aside from the food because pretty much everyone has already throughly described the dissatisfaction with the food?. My issue is that we couldn?t even get a refund because ?allegedly? there was no manager. The only option we were given was a phone to call for Brian. And guess what, he didn?t answer and his voicemail was full!!! What a surprise. What responsible owner leaves there location in the hands of a guy who does not know how to process a refund, nor does he know basic stuff like if this restaurant is a franchise or when the manager will be in. Leaving someone like him by himself was a poor management decision. This is a bad representation of my favorite Korean restaurant. It would be who of you to take a trip to the Arlington bonchon to see how real bonchon soy garlic strips are made. Also the bonchon in Arundel mills is another great example. What your serving is false advertisement as this is not the bonchon Korean fried chicken. This is chicken strips ordered from Sysco or us foods with a drizzle of sauce. Unacceptable and this restaurant will be held accountable
Food was disgusting and burnt rice was disgusting and rancid after placing it in the fridge. This means the ingredients used were not fresh. Manager doesn?t respond to ANY ISSUES. Definitely not like what I have tried at another location. Don?t waste your money!!
Only three stars because the wait time was crazy. Only a cashier and from what I could tell one cook. Because they are new..I could overlook that. BUT- I can?t overlook the chicken. It was super dry and seems like it was microwaved from the night before and coated with sauce again. Which is sad because the sauce was dried up too! If you can make it to the bonchon in Arlington..go there..the food is too expensive to be dried like that. ????
