Deli Food&cafe - Alcobaca

Excellent little gastronomy adventure of world cuisine. Super friendly staff. We have long been waiting for a cafe/restaurant in Alcobaça that offers vegetarian, gluten free and dairy free options. For lunch we had the soup that was sooo tasty and the main course of a pork deli with a potato waffle, with full of flavour. You must try their gluten free cakes, they are to die for and lemon tart is just with a right amount of sweet and lemon. I can honestly say that I haven´t eaten out so well for years.

Cute little cafe with good vegetarian and vegan options. One of the better coffees I've had in Portugal. Lovely spot right beside the monastery.

Brilliant place for lunch with parking and next to monastery. 3 courses with drink and coffee was 9 euros. Very friendly staff and excellent food. Will try the homemade cheesecake next time.
