Alpendre - Alcacer Do Sal

My friend from the US was here recently on a holiday with her husband. We hadn’t met for 40 years and we had to see each other. I didn’t want to go to Tomar downtown. I discovered Alpendre through TripAdvisor and I must say this was a great find. The restaurant could easily be missed but just watch out for cars parked along the street. The restaurant is a popular dining place among the locals. The ambiance, the service and the owners (I assume) are just wonderful and you could see the pride of ownership. Our dishes were perfect … from the wine, the appetizers, the meats and fish and the desserts. The steak melted in our mouths. The sauce that went with it was lovely. I really am happy about this pick. My guests were amazed by the food. Definitely a fantastic restaurant that everyone has to try.

If you have a car and you are in Tomar looking for a good local food you should visit this restaurant. It is located few kilometers outside the town, however it is worth to go there for lunch or dinner. Many locals are coming here. I came here with my family for lunch. We tried a dish of the day: fabulous veal and my wife took a tuna. Both were amazing and with unbelievable value for money. We have paid for all inclusive house wine,desserts and a coffee €30. Do not miss it!!!

Very close to the city there’s this Portuguese restaurant so great in every way!! Food incredeble so good and with lots of options. Great employees very nice!! Wines also lots of good options!! This is the place I’m sure I will be back! Thank you to all the team!!

Our dishes were perfect... from wine, appetizers, meat and fish and desserts. Steak slept in our mouth. The sauce that went with her was nice. I'm really happy about this choice. My guests were surprised by the food. Definitely a fantastic restaurant everyone has to try.

Un peu difficile à trouver parce que l'adresse n'est pas complète. spécifier pour le GPS :rua principal de Valbom. Et va à la fin... un bon couple, dont la dame parle anglais, à la tête de cette simple maison. Deux plats de la journée à choisir... pour moi un bacalhau crème, en gratin, avec sa salade... puis un fromage bien vieilli, un verre de vin et un café..l'ensemble pour 14€. nous sommes loin des prix de lisboet qui ont fortement dérivé. Tous servis avec un sourire !
