Scarpas Brick Oven Pizza 2

Good service and good food! I'm glad to see this local restaurant doing well! Love their soups!!! You definitely get value here...my photos are actually half orders!!!

Scarpas is an old favorite of mine and my family. I'm happy to update this review from my previous experience at the restaurant (which I think was a fluke in salad freshness). Our go to salad: the Arancia salad. If you don't get it you'll regret it. Tonight the special pasta alla vodka was delicious. The staff is always friendly. Multiple waiters and waitresses seem to have worked there for years, so it is nice to see familiar faces every time we visit. Will be back soon! Can't stop myself from eating the bread they give with every meal.

Good service. They get busy and can be slow, but I like the fact that numerous servers ask if I've been helped yet. Asparagus soup is really good. They have good salads too and their pizzas are on point. They have a pizza called the killer bee: large pizza of salami and a drizzle of honey. It's excellent

We had their pasta primavera with sun-dried tomatoes instead of the bacon and shrimp scampi pizza. Both were delicious. We really love coming here as a family because the pizza is so good. We always get the apple tart with the cinnamon ice cream at the end too. A super special treat for the family :

Saturday afternoon, hungry and wanting something substantial and comforting. Thats either new mexican or pasta. Decided to try scarpas again after about 5 years since the last time I tried it. I got the pasta scarpa with shrimp. It's a lemon caper sauce with garlic butter shrimp. DH got the pasta Sorento with chicken. At least his had lots of flavor! Mine not so much. Suffice it to say the best part of my meal was the bread with garlic butter. The shrimp was so over cooked they were very tough. So it was probably a good thing there were only 4. I gave 2 to DH. The chicken was very dry as well but it was breast meat which tends to be dry anyway so it doesn't take much overlooking to really make it very dry. I think it will take another 5 years for me to forget again how mediocre the pasta is here. Maybe the pizza is better.
