Bidra med feedbackEdit: lmao, I just discovered that this place is actually Texan... As Texan, I'm ashamed to say where BBQ's so strong with me. I traveled the whole country and ate great and small at many BBQ joints, but this place was something special. There was only a 20-minute waiting for a table of 2. Trevor was perhaps the most attentive and service-thanked waiter I had in a LONG time. He had an excellent timing with everything and seemed to have a complete section. The food, 10/10 I ordered moist second cut brisket, sausage and pulled pigs and could not have been satisfied anymore. I must be honest here, but the meat was so good that I never dipped or drank a meat in her sauce. The review would be made without an honourable mention of the house bread. It was good. Large and thick slices of moist cake such as bread served with margarin and a picked honey butter. I hope this helps, and I know if you decide in... They won't be disappointed. And make sure to ask for Trevor!
Our group of six enjoyed a wonderful meal here on a Sunday evening. We had a reservation for 5:00, but it wouldn't have waited. Everyone on the staff was very friendly and our server took care of us. Drinks and food came with perfect timing. Between the six of us we tried every meat and most sides, and it was all delicious and tasteful. Also very abundant food for what I think is reasonable prices. We live on the other side of Albuquerque, so we are not often in the area, but we will soon return to our experience tonight. It was too cool for the terrace, but it looked really nice and had great city views.
We arrived at appetizers at 18:30 and got our appetizers only after 19:05. I checked the day before online to make a reservation and it wouldn't leave me. The friend we met with just before we came in and made a reservation. Not sure what this is about. Our appetizers were very delicious. The bread came with a small basket of packed butter and honey butter. The Quesories were lightly spicy, but not bad for someone who doesn't like spicy. Our main court did not come out until 7:30, what we were told was because there was a group of 50 out of a bus that came (after we noticed it) and reordered for some reason their group received priority over others in the restaurant. That didn't make us very happy. We didn't see our waitress often, but she seemed to do the best she could. We have refilled water until the end of our meal, to go boxes, offered to bring us a container of the BBQ sauce that we loved but they don't sell. She also took a moment to take pictures of my friends and me. We went back, the food was really very good, service was okay, our server was friendly, but others, not so much. They offered us a discount on our bill for the inconvenience of waiting so long for our food.
It was a while since we had eaten in the County Line BBQ, as it is something out of the way for us, but we always remembered how wonderful it was. We took a Sunday trip and found out that it was just as fantastic as a culinary experience before! The service was excellent as the BBQ Brisket, pulled pig, BBQ chicken and loaded (and I my loaded) baked potato. An extensive menu with so many options decided to order a culinary adventure. We also found the dining room atmosphere much more comfortable, cozy and more appealing than many restaurants in ABQ. All in all, it was really a treat and we will make sure again on a more regular basis!
Updated review: it?s *very* rare for me to give a bad review (out of almost two thousand reviews). Downgraded from 5 stars to 3 for now. We visited tonight for my dad?s 74th birthday, as is our usual tradition. My mom set a reservation online somehow and she got txt confirmation but the hostess said reservation wasn?t listed. My parents waited outside early (before opening) to ask for a table by the window. The hostess was so rude to them. Told them ?no reservation listed and to step aside and wait. No guarantees.? Remember they were first ones inside. She sat everyone in the line first and sat us in a corner and was so rude to them and us. Our server was nice so there was some redemption but it almost ruined dad?s birthday. Hostess (young girl with dark hair wearing a mask) needs to be talked to about disrespect to older people and customers, who are human beings. This has always been one of my favorite places in ABQ. The barbecue is really good. They?re a little on the pricey side but I think family and fun times when I think of this restaurant. If you?re in the Albuquerque area, come try this place for really good barbecue!
