Bidra med feedbackThis was probably the worst Italian food I 've ever had. How can you mess up Italian food? Well now I know how! We compared the pizza to frozen pizza, however, frozen pizza would have been better. The salad was a few pieces of iceberg lettuce drenched in store bought Italian dressing and the bread was served with packaged margarine. Although it 's cheap, eating at home would have been SO much better. Don 't waste your time or money here.
Just discovered this little gem of a local family run Italian restaurant. Classic mom and pop Italian food for a reasonable price. My first time there and will come back. Learned that this place has been around since 1971 and the father had passed away 7 months ago but his daughter has continued on. We had a large party of 22 and they set us up at two long tables. The staff was very friendly and handled the large group with ease. Never once did I have to ask for a drink refill as they were on top of it. The minestrone soup was good and the pasta was also good. Portions were decent and the prices were very reasonable. What was a real surprise and treat was their pizza. Growing up in Chicago, I have missed the traditional taste of a thin crust Chicago pizza. The sweetness of the sauce and the crust brought back memories of all the great neighborhood pizza places I grew up with in Chicago. If your looking for a real traditional thin crust Chicago pizza, try Caruso's! We will be back for more!!
A great, family owned local spot. Prices are great. The pizza is one of the best in town! Manicotti is great. Homemade sauce. Eat local!!
