Dream's Caffe Pastelaria - Albufeira

Went here a few times for lunch, their rissoles and pasteis de nata were really good and the wife loved their tuna mayo sandwiches! There was always a queue for their ice cream. I was surprised to see the bad reviews regarding the lady there, we found her very friendly and helpful, and she always waved and said hello when we walked past even if we weren’t going in? Maybe the people who complained were loud and rude themselves and she wasn’t impressed?

Terrible service, terrible prices. Went here just before leaving from my holiday, the place was empty, and they wouldn’t let those who didn’t buy anything stay, despite 7 of the 10 of us buying something! Conveniently, the ones they kicked out where the two mixed race individuals who didn’t buy anything, yet me the white one who didn’t buy anything was not asked to leave. Utter utterly horrible.

I can only assume that there has been new owners/staff as this little gem does not deserve the previous reviews. We dropped in here after some terrible service in the ‘square’. The lady serving couldn’t have been more welcoming. Yes it does have a lot of local customers but in my opinion this can only mean good things. The chocolate cake portion was huge and very tasty. Plus a real British cup of Tetley Tea!! We came back in on a second evening and the lady recognised us and remembered our order … first class customer service.

Popped in tonight as we couldn't get a desert in the restaurant we had just eaten in, we ordered Apple cake and ice cream large beer, chocolate cake and ice cream and a chocolate milk shake, all I might add were rather delicious, the young lady that severed us was very pleasant and attentive, lovely surroundings all very clean
