The owner is the most rude person I’ve met in Puglia. He started to talk in Italian. I told him I spoke a little bit Italian in Italian language (as I am from Holland and didn’t understand what he was saying). Then he just kept repeating “Ciao” and looked angry, walked away. At first I thought it was a joke, but it wasn’t. I asked if the bar was closing (also in Italian language), the only reply I got where 4 more Ciao’s. Like wow. You can be a bit more “gentile”, at least I try to speak your language and if it’s closing time at 14:45, close your door and just tell me you are “chiudere”. Maybe he had a bit too much peppers himself. So for you: Ciao! Hope to never see you again.

I returned after several years at the bar the trulletto, to enjoy a chilli coffee, where there is all the passion of the owner who in the preparation illustrates it all the way to enjoy it; a coffee that in its simplicity finds the coffee goto, the sweetness of the cream that drags the chili powder. excellent oil and jam the chili. We went to this place to try the famous coffee! the owner, during the preparation, made us taste his chili jam on a tarallo base, then explained how to get his invention to the best! good coffee, different and very particular! all with a view of the trees! Good wife!
