Muffin Cakes Tea Room - ALBENGA

Me and my boyfriend were staying in a hotel near this place that gives you the liberty to choose where to have breakfast. We chose this one to change from the usual Italian brioche. Great decision! We sat outside becuase it was a lovely morning. Capuccino was delicious, very foamy, just the way I like it! the mixed fruit juice was very good (even ny boyfriend liked it and he's not a fan of mixed juices). Finally we chose a big chocolate chip cookie over muffins and brownie, the dough was a little heavy on the stomach but otherwise very good.

We have been to this lovely place several times. Muffins, scones &co are delicious and the interior design is very cute. BUT: the owner is terribly arrogant and snooty. It's a shame as we will not go back anymore...Hey girl, you are not the only one that has nice business ideas. Your customers are your future...be careful :

For anyone looking for a slice of England while in Albenga, this is definitely the place to go. They always have all sorts of cakes, cookies, etc. and they have recently started doing brunches and special events. It is very popular; it's been full every time I've been there in the past year. Their hours change based on what time of year it is and what special events they have scheduled. The best place to find out what is happening is probably their Facebook page. Additionally, if you don't know any Italian and feel a bit lost the owner is English/Italian.

Localino delizioso in Piazza San Francesco. Bella e interessante la gamma di te e tisane, con varie chicche come il Te Blu piuttosto raro da trovare. Una particolare lode al servizio che ti invoglia assolutamente a ritornare.
