Albemarle Sweet Shop

Although I'm a local, I've never been to the Sweet Shop. My first visit was one week ago on November 2, 2021. This assessment is NOT related to the product; it's about RUDENESS. I bought 4 oatmeal sandwich cookies $6.60), a coconut-cutard pipe $10) and a sweet potato pipe $10). I observed that the employee packaged this article correctly. When they started selling, the cookies, coconut cake and an apple cake were $13.50) on my ticket. I told her I didn't have or want an apple crumb cake. She continued to put both cake boxes on the counter, disappoint them and show me what was in the boxes. She then said, “I know what I put in these boxes.” I said I knew that, but she accused me of an apple crumb cake instead of a sweet potato cake. She grabbed the same “I know what I put in these boxes”. After that, she seemed to get a real attitude with me as if she was personally. She changed my ticket from apple crumb to sweet potato cake, so maybe she really didn't know or remembered what she put in these boxes. But why the attitude and restlessness? I didn't make the mistake. Should I pay the $3,50 extra and say nothing?

The best place to get everything you want sweet. All they have is great. We live about 4 hours away, every time we get to Albemarle, we have to go to ALWAYS to get home.

My favorite place in stone graphics and I try to be here a time or 2 per week of owners shawn oke and his team are absolutely amazing I really enjoy to be around each one of them! this place is a huge asset to stabilize the land circles. my “go to go” would turn the pfirsich or cheerwine custard cake but I have tried almost everything they need to offer

Absolutely the best bakery around! if they never had a clown cookie, they really disappeared!
